Manufacture of simple automatic watering device

DIY automatic water absorption potted plants, simple use of large coke bottles, cotton thread, plus a small physical principle is OK, come and try it! A flowerpot for keeping the soil moist by using the principle of capillary phenomenon. Prepare 2 liters of Coke bottles, cotton ropes, soil and seeds.

Cut the bottle in half, and then drill a hole in the cap with nails and hammers.

Tie the rope, pass it through the bottle cap, and adjust the length of the rope by yourself.

Screw back the bottle cap and install it like a picture.

The water is in the lower part of the bottle, and the soil is in the upper part of the bottle, and the water will be automatically transferred to the soil through the cotton rope. When the soil absorbs enough water, it will naturally stop receiving water from cotton ropes. When there is less clear water, take out the upper part of the bottle and pour the water into the lower part of the bottle.
