Planet or Plastic
This project, which began with aesthetic creation, aims to improve people's sense of social responsibility and environmental awareness. Rosenthal thinks it is most meaningful to rethink our consumption patterns. "We need to change the design mode of all packaging. The ban on plastic bags and plastic straws makes people feel good about themselves, but it is not enough to have these alone."
Garbage is everywhere on Floyd Bennett Field Beach in Brooklyn, new york. Rosenthals collects garbage here and classifies it into an art. He repeatedly cleaned a short coastline and collected debris for artistic creation. Make different installation arts according to different colors, shapes and uses. In each work, Barry Rosenthal, an independent theme artist, shows us the degree of marine pollution in the form of Assemblage. Bottles, toys, packaging ...... Plastic products fade and wear constantly, but they cannot be degraded and not fade away.
